One win the last 16 games, things are not looking good for The Shakers but being the loyal supporters that we are, we decided to travel to Rushden. With the snow coming down heavily it was touch-and-go if the game was on. Sandra rang the club and found out the game was on.  We met up with Paul and the rest of the crew at Gigg at 15:30 and we set off. Just stopping off for a toilet break and after getting lost we made it to ground at 19:20.

            We put up the flag and took out our seats. The lads came out and we got behind them. Not the best football they have played and we were 3-0 down at half time. Half time arrived and we went and got a hot drink to warm up. The lads came out for the second half and they played a bit better but unfortunately we couldn’t get the ball in the back of the net. We set off back to Gigg after the game, where we all fell asleep. We arrived back at Gigg about 1am. Roll on Southend.
